My AI
Operating System
In December 2025 I started building a SaaS with AI. I have never written a line of production code in my life. The product is Searcher OS, the full operating system for anyone buying a business. It's profitable, growing, and enterprise-grade.
Now that it's built, a team of AI agents helps me run it. They run on Hermes and Claude Code, on a Mac Mini on my desk. Below is the org chart, how the team is set up, and free guides on the parts that transfer to any agent stack.
The Team
Agent hierarchy.
Named after the Bobiverse series. Each agent has a mandate, direct reports, and weekly OKRs. Same structure as a real leadership team.
6 agents currently running in production. Marcus (Deal Associate) is newest and not yet in the public org chart.

- —Sets weekly OKRs and holds the team accountable

My Setup
How I run a SaaS company with AI agents.
This is not theoretical. This is how I operate SearcherOS every day.
Hardware
Custom high-memory Mac Mini M4 Pro. Running locally is 10x better than any cloud setup. I tried EC2 first — don't do it.
Agent Hierarchy
Bob (CEO) owns the $100K ARR mandate and manages 5 direct reports: Bill (CTO), Riker (CMO), Bridget (CCO), Howard (Acquisitions), and Codex (DevOps). Same structure as a real leadership team.
Hermes + Claude Code
Claude Code built the product and still does the engineering. Hermes runs the agents day to day: go-to-market, distribution, customer ops, growth strategy. They serve different jobs.
The Key Insight
A solo founder cannot think fast enough, write fast enough, or execute fast enough to reach serious ARR alone. An agent team is the only way to close that gap.
Free Guides
Everything I wish someone had told me.
I spent weeks figuring this out the hard way. These two guides cover the lessons that hold no matter which agent runtime you pick.
FAQ
Common questions.
No. I'm not an engineer. I'm a go-to-market ops guy who learned by doing. If you can think in systems and communicate clearly, you can run one. The barrier is process design, not coding.
I recommend a Mac Mini M4 Pro with high memory (48GB or 64GB). Running locally is dramatically better than cloud. My setup guide covers the exact specs and why they matter.
I tried EC2 first. Latency issues, SSH complexity, session drops, and cost. Local gives you zero latency, full control, and the machine pays for itself in a month. It's not close.
Hermes and Claude Code. Claude Code built the product, the actual codebase, and still handles the engineering. Hermes runs the agents around it: go-to-market, distribution, social media, customer ops, strategy. They serve different jobs. The hierarchy and the memory system matter more than the runtime, which is why the guides here are runtime-agnostic.
